After our trip to Dachau, a pick me up was needed. First we stopped at Allianz Arena, home to Mr. Fehr’s favorite football team FC Bayern Munchen (yes, In the rest of the world soccer is called football) After a brief shopping excursion, we head into the Altstadt’s Marienplatz. There we enjoyed the busling city life, even though it was very touristy. Crowds were gathering to watch the most famous part of Munich ‘s Marienplatz, the Glockenspiel. Rufus was rooting for the horse to throw the riders. it tells the story of Duke Wilhelm V and his battle with a knight (btw the Duke wins every time) By then we were in need of nourishment so we headed to the world famous Hofbrau Haus, built in 1589 and is considered quintessentially German. “In Munchen steht ein Hofbruahaus, oans, zwoa, g’suffa!”
