Up early, shuttle to the airport, picked our supposedly trustworthy rental and drove 1.5 hours to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Using a great download, we retraced the 3 days of the July 1863 battle. For 3 hours we leisurely made our way around the battlfield, stoping occasionally to get more info. This tour really hits part of my curriculum and I was really locked in. Finshed the day at the site of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. Then off to a period bed and breakfast. Driving off to Easton, Maryland to do some ancestry stuff. More to come..
