FFT 2025: Day #1 / Jeff’s trip begins with Edinburgh, Scotland

After arriving in Edinburgh, Scotland, I headed northwest of the city to see two modern attractions: First, the Kelpies, which are giant horse-head sculptures symbolizing strength, industry, and mythical water horses from Scottish folklore. (see above).

Below is the Falkirk Wheel, which is a unique rotating boat lift connecting canals while showcasing innovative engineering and modern design.

Both of these Day #1 highlights, showcase the modern aspect of Scotland. Day #2 will be much different as travel into Historic Edinburgh to visit sites much more in the past.
